Design Field Trip: Savannah

Writer: Brian ConlonBrian Conlon

Hello and happy Sunday friends. I am back after a weekend visiting beautiful Savannah, Georgia where I enjoyed a little bit of southern charm to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of my very best friends. This was my first-time visiting Savannah, even though I’ve lived within a reasonable driving distance to the city for 10+ years…and I can say that I have definitely been missing out!

As someone who enjoys historic architecture, Savannah offered quite the dose of creative inspiration! From the Spanish moss tree lines streets, to the rows of historic older homes, I constantly found myself stopping to admire something throughout the trip. I also found an abundance of inspiring design motifs on building, doors, sidewalks and interiors that kept catching my eye.

If you are ever in the area or are looking for a great vacation idea, I highly recommend a trip to Savannah. I know I will definitely be returning as soon as I can! In the meantime, I’ll be adding my photos to my inspiration album for future design projects.

All the best for the week ahead!
